Sweet Momma Yoga
For well over a decade my life's work has been in prenatal and postnatal yoga to consciously bond with baby, gain confidence in preparation for childbirth, feel good physically, and receive the support every birth-giver deserves. The best part of practicing with me? You don't have to be perfect! I'm sure as hell not.

No need to birth your baby outside in the fields, drink wheatgrass smoothies, or look picture perfect. I'm a mom. I remember this sacred phase of life and wish someone held my hand with loving wisdom to celebrate this momentous time. Let me be a soft shoulder for you to lean on. Prenatal Yoga

This is the ultimate practice incorporating healthy ways to function and move while the body changes, childbirth preparation methods such as movements and breath techniques, plus heartfelt discussions with those in the same phase of life as you. Traditionally yoga is practiced on an empty belly (refraining from meals 2 hours before practice).
Postnatal Yoga

Whether you join postnatal yoga as a way to enjoy some alone time or are looking forward to practicing with baby - I have a class for just for you. Postpartum is forever. This class supports life as a woman and caregiver no matter where she is on her life journey. Explore what "core strength" really means and how to properly engage the pelvic floor and transverse abdominal muscles for optimal function and wellbeing.

I cannot emphasize this important factor enough when preparing to restart your physical fitness regimen (Cross-Fit, boxing, running, aerobics, yoga, etc.) after giving birth: first have a functional pelvic floor + core connection before going back to these activities.It's not too late if you already started your familiar routines and have unwanted symptoms that don't seem to be going away.
