Established in 1961, Camp Judaea is a Jewish, Israel-centered summer camp community for children ages 7-15 located in Hendersonville, NC. We provide a safe, fun, nurturing environment where campers grow as individuals, build lifelong friendships, develop leadership skills, and establish enduring connections with Judaism, Israel, and the natural environment. Our pluralist Jewish community celebrates the diversity of Jewish life around the world, bringing together campers and staff from every denomination. For three generations, we have produced alumni who lead their communities through Tikkun Olam, repairing the world.Our 118-acre campus in the Blue Ridge Mountains inspires campers to embrace nature, take positive risks, and become more independent. We are deeply invested in building a vibrant community rooted in Jewish values and bringing the transformative power of Jewish summer camp to every child and family. Our approach prioritizes understanding each situation from multiple perspectives, ensuring we meet the needs of our community through flexible, responsible decision-making. I have had THE BEST summer of my entire life for the past 4 years. This camp has become my home and i have created the best bonds with so many people that they have become family to me. If i could give this camp 100 stars i would. I am always waiting for the school year to be over so i can get right into camp!
