Hand, Hoof & Heart
Our new location features 14.5 acres of rolling pastures, a newly renovated 8 stall barn, hot and cold indoor wash stall, large tack room, and a soon-to-be newly renovated 140 X 80 arena with lights. Our new address is 3363 Wheeler Drive Acworth, GA 30102. Our program is still operating on a waitlist as we focus on this new journey.

Moving to the new farm will allow us to accommodate our waitlist riders and provide more farm-based activities for the community. We appreciate your patience and thank you for your support! We can't wait to share our new home with you all. At Hand, Hoof and Heart, our mission is to support people of all abilities towards maximizing mental, physical, emotional and educational growth through the use of animal and nature based programs.

Our Story
Report
The Hand, Hoof and Heart journey began back in 2013 in Marietta, GA. Our founder, Erin, had always been involved with horses, but hadn't planned on building this program until she took a job as a caregiver for a young boy diagnosed with autism and fell in love working with the special needs community.
Meet the Team

She is always striving to develop new, creative programs that bring the community together, promote inclusivity and provide opportunities for the community to get involved.
Program Ponies
Report
Princess is a 29 year old Connemara and has been owned by Erin for 15 years. Princess is our original program horse and is now semi-retired, but she will still make appearances during our summer camps. Princess is great at teaching our riders about grooming and handling horses safely from the ground.
FAQs
Report
The Hand, Hoof and Heart therapeutic riding program is designed to teach our students about horsemanship and the sport of riding while implementing lesson plans that support them towards improvement of their physical, social and emotional well-being. This specific program was created to support rider goals that they are working on in outside therapies, as well as personal goals they have created within the barn.

We are excited for your rider to join our program! Before you jump in the saddle, there are a few that steps you need to take in order to start your horseback riding lessons. All new students are required to contact Erin directly in order to schedule their first lesson. This is for both our therapeutic horseback riding lessons and our general riding lessons.
