College Preparation
We offer rigorous college preparatory programs with 80+ honors and AP courses, supported by dedicated college counseling. Our students consistently earn admission to top universities with significant scholarships, as evidenced by $21M awarded in 2025. The Harms Family College and Career Hub provides personalized guidance throughout the application process.
Arts Programs
Our arts curriculum includes nearly 30 visual and performing arts classes, culminating in the Harriett Coleman Center for the Arts. Students develop creative talents through theater, music, dance, and visual arts, with opportunities to showcase work professionally. The upcoming Arts District will expand these offerings with specialized facilities for music and performance.
Athletics
With 64 teams across 19 sports, our athletics program emphasizes skill development and character building. Our state-champion teams benefit from expert coaching and facilities like the Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute Athletic Center. Innovation Labs
Our Porter Family Center for Innovation houses cutting-edge technology including the Carmany Family Innovation Hub. Our children have attended Lake Highland Preparatory School (both middle and high) during the past 4 school years. Both schools are excellent! We love Lake Highland Preparatory School and are extremely grateful for the excellent education and environment that both of our children received. Lake Highland will always be in our hearts and we highly recommend Lake Highland to anyone. Thank You to all Lake Highland teachers and staff!!!

Kids just entered their 4th year at LHPS. Could not be happier! The school has gotten better each year, specifically last year with the addition of a new school President, Dr. Rowe. His leadership is what the school was missing...a fresh, educationally based leader of the administration to bring the already stellar curriculum to new heights. From the administration to the faculty to all the support staff....no better school in Orlando!

I graduated from LHPS a few years ago. It is an excellent institution and I am grateful to have been able to attend. I lived in Winter Park and so had the opportunity to go to WP high school; looking back on it I am happy with my decision to attend LHPS rather than WPHS or one of the OCPS magnet programs. Good teachers, class sizes and guidance counselor to student ratio, all of which were important to me. The academics are top-tier if you take advantage of them. Likewise, despite being in a smaller athletic division, the athletic program is great. Would recommend LHPS to others.

I don't go there. But I know 2 girls that do. It's like any private prep school that I've seen. However, seems if u have the $$$$ send ur kids here. Middle School is a shuttle ride away. I know school color is white, red, black.
