Services
Epidural Steroid Injection
Targeted treatment for nerve-related pain using corticosteroid medication delivered to the epidural space. This procedure reduces inflammation and alleviates symptoms from conditions like herniated discs and spinal stenosis. Patients typically experience pain relief lasting weeks to months, often combined with physical therapy for optimal outcomes.
Radio-Frequency Ablation
Minimally invasive procedure that uses heat to disrupt pain signal transmission in specific nerves. Effective for chronic neck/back pain and joint-related discomfort, this technique provides longer-lasting relief than traditional nerve blocks. The outpatient procedure allows immediate return to normal activities with minimal recovery time.
Spinal Cord Stimulation
Advanced implantable device therapy for severe chronic pain unresponsive to other treatments. Small electrodes deliver mild electrical impulses to interrupt pain signals before reaching the brain. This reversible treatment option offers customizable pain management through external programming while maintaining medication control when needed.
Joint Injections
Diagnostic and therapeutic injections for joint-related pain conditions using local anesthetics and anti-inflammatory medications. Effective for osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and post-traumatic joint pain, these targeted treatments provide both immediate and sustained relief while preserving joint function and mobility.
Nerve Blocks
Temporary or diagnostic injection therapy targeting specific nerve pathways causing pain. Used for both acute pain management and chronic condition diagnosis, this technique helps identify pain sources while providing immediate relief. Multiple injection types address various pain patterns and nerve distributions.

My experience here was good. I have been in extreme pain from a large Herniation (L5S1) and am awaiting surgery. The only downside is that it took so long to schedule an appointment even though I had a referral from the neuro surgeon. Anyways, I finally went in and the check in was painless. Like I said I am in excruciating pain and the only position that I can manage to deal with the pain is lying down or on all fours. I was happy that the wait time wasn't very long, about 10-15 minutes. They brought me back to a room, explained the procedure to me and completed some paperwork. It took about 5

Was referred to Malinky by Penrose nuero science department being told he is the best at what he does. After 8 years of 24/7 horrible pain I finally had hope only to have it crushed because Malinky denied the referral -no reason given. I can only guess that my insurance wasn't good enough. Without a reason given for denying me I don't know where I am supposed to turn to next. So much for being in the practice to help people .

Absolutely the worst experience that I have ever dealt with in American healthcare. After receiving a referral from my doctor within the UC Health healthcare system I was anxious to finally get some help from a specialized pain management doctor. I am a 100% disabled vet and am struggling to function with multiple back and knee injuries. Not once did this office ever call me through the month long process, I had to consistently reach out to them to get any update. After they confirmed receiving my referral they stated that they would call me within 48 business hours to schedule an appointment

Dr. Malinky is one of the best in the business. I definitely feel like he cares. I have had several injections in both my knees and my back with much success. I highly recommend him.

I have been a patient here for almost 2 years. The staff does their best however the communication is the worst Ive ever experienced. I have chronic pain + am new to CO. Insurance has been a nightmare + the lack of communication just makes it that much more stressful. We are not allowed to take anxiety medication (I get it) but ironically enough my anxiety is at its highest peak when I deal with these appointments in any form. Today I have been calling for 40 min after having to call out of work for the first half of my day due to my prescription being filled out incorrectly. A call back
