In 1920, the legendary Scottish architect, Donald Ross, was commissioned to design the first, second and third nines. After the original Clubhouse was destroyed by fire two years later, a larger facility was constructed and still stands at the core of our current Colonial-style clubhouse. The original designs have been improved over the years by two world-renowned Club members.

As part of our $18 million master plan, our club offers a comprehensive racquet sports program. Members are encouraged to put their skills to the test in traditional tennis, platform tennis and pickleball, as well as the thrill of team competition. Montclair Golf Club members can achieve their personal best on the courts-through professional instruction, drills, clinics and camps - as well as unwind and socialize at special Racquets Night events.

Debuting in 2021 is our $9 million Pool & Paddle Complex - where the whole family can escape the everyday to make a splash in our brand-new, resort-style swimming pool. Or lounge and relax on the spacious sun deck with a drink in your hand. As the center of summertime fun at the club, our pool plays host to the season's most-anticipated celebrations-as well as home to our competitive swim team.

At Montclair Golf Club, members don't play a golf round or tennis match and leave.
