Upper Montclair Country Club

Members enjoy excellent service, pristine golfing conditions and the flexibility of no tee times - all just 12 miles from Midtown, Manhattan. The 27-hole Championship course at Upper Montclair was designed by two of golf's most prominent architects, A.W. Tillinghast and Robert Trent Jones, Sr. The courses offer a truly challenging golf experience for those of all skill levels.

Upper Montclair Country Club is part of a select group of clubs world-wide known to have hosted tournaments for all three Professional Golf Associations. Hall of Famers Gene Littler, Arnold Palmer, Nancy Lopez, Pat Bradley, Lee Trevino and Ray Floyd have all won titles at UMCC.

27-holes of Championship golf designed by two of the most prolific architects in the history of golf. Originally designed by A.W. Tillinghast, Upper Montclair underwent major course renovations in the 1950's directed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. These renovations transformed the Club into the present 27-hole Championship design.

Upper Montclair Country Club is a truly spectacular New Jersey venue to host private social events, weddings and more. Our Executive Chef, Ryan Foo, and his Culinary Team offer delicious fare along with top-notch service. Our Clubhouse offers private event spaces for 15 - 200+ guests.
