Set on a 125-year-old farm, Mountain Run is a quintessential family-operated farm winery. Opened in 2016, Mountain Run quickly became known for its charming pastoral setting, friendly service, and wide range of award-winning wines, meads, and hard cider.
Our one-of-a-kind tasting room is built in a 1950's corn crib, complete with slatted walls that allow for the free passage of air through the building, and adjoining bays that have held tractors and hay wagons for the better part of the last century.As soon as you step inside the weathered oak walls of our buildings, you will feel the deep agricultural history of the setting come alive.

Welcome to Mountain Run Winery's online storefront for shipping to Virginia and DC addresses. Shipping/Handling rates are $15 per order and then an additional $2 per bottle shipped. Orders will be shipped through Fedex. You can also arrange for curbside pickup at the winery, or local delivery in Culpeper.

Mountain Run Winery prides itself on the production of small-batch, distinctive, high-quality wines, ciders, and meads. Our wines range from sweet to dry with something for every palate. While the availability of each wine ranges from year-to-year based on the harvests, we typically produce up to 20 wines each year.

Corporate events, retirement parties, bridal showers, birthday parties, reunions and baby showers. The Stable is a historic 30' x 40' horse barn built in 1902 that has been refurbished with a polished concrete floor, string lighting, electrical outlets, two 8' ceiling fans, two large doors, and a three story ceiling.

Mountain Run is a small waterway that flows from Mountain Run Lake along the back edge of our property and then into Lake Pelham. You won't be able to see Mountain Run itself from our property unless you sign up for a private tour of the property. If you've never visited Mountain Run Lake Park before, it's a mile up Mountain Run Lake road from our winery, and the view of the lake with the mountains in the background is stunning.
