Award-Winning Bordeaux-Style Wines in Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains
Established in 2006, our vineyard and winery are rooted in a legacy of craftsmanship and dedication to quality. After decades of professional experience in aviation and hospitality, we transitioned to viticulture, leveraging expertise from leading regional viticulturists and winemakers. Our 10-acre vineyard, planted in ideal terrain for sun exposure, drainage, and soil health, produces small batches of Bordeaux-style wines. We prioritize grape quality to create memorable wines, including Chardonnay, Malbec, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Our scenic tasting room in Rappahannock County offers visitors an immersive experience of our terroir and heritage. The family name, derived from 'goat mountain' in Norman French, reflects our connection to tradition and land. We uphold values of faith, honor, and excellence, as symbolized in our coat of arms. Our commitment to sustainable practices extends to raising pasture-fed livestock on the adjacent farm. With awards from the Atlantic Seaboard Wine Association, we continue to refine our craft while welcoming guests to enjoy our wines and landscapes. Our team combines technical expertise with a passion for hospitality, ensuring every visitor experiences the essence of our vineyard.
