Award-Winning Oregon Wines for Every Palate
Established in 1990, Wetzel Estate Winery is a family-owned and operated vineyard rooted in a four-generation legacy of winemaking that began in Germany. Our vineyards are strategically located in Oregon's Willamette Valley, benefiting from ideal sun exposure, elevation, and the cooling maritime air currents of the Van Duzer Corridor AVA. The region's well-drained sedimentary soils, enriched by the Missoula floods, contribute to the distinct mineral complexity of our wines. We prioritize sustainable practices, holding L.I.V.E. Certification, one of the Pacific Northwest's most rigorous sustainability standards. Our portfolio includes award-winning Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Riesling, and limited-production specialty wines such as Sparkling Wines and Northwest Comfort, our proprietary Gluhwein recipe.

With domestic and international distribution, we combine traditional techniques with modern innovation to craft wines that reflect our terroir. Our tasting room, open daily, offers over 20 rotating wines and private tours of our crush pad, barrel room, and bottling line. We host events ranging from wine/food pairings to weddings, emphasizing community engagement and education through Wine 101 classes. Our commitment to quality is reflected in our limited annual production, ensuring meticulous attention to every bottle.

One of my favorite vineyards in Oregon. Not only is their Syrrah enough to make a white drinker into a red drinker but their Grapeseed oil is legendary! Highly recommend!

Make here bright and early Saturday morning. We were meet by a super nice gal. We sat outside on a great sunny day. She brought wine and we started tasting. The wine was yummy and the views were great. I wish this place had some food cause I could have spent much more time here. We could a few bottle and cans of different wines we enjoyed. The prices are not crazy and it's a cute place. I would highly suggest coming here. Can't wait to we have a return trip.
