For our home inspection, our agent gave us two names, but we decided to doa little research. We called several individuals and were glad to have chosen Greg Bertaux. Our story is very positive because Greg Bertaux was our home inspector twice, most recently last month and also about three years ago. Both times he did a great job. Our first home in Vero Beach was an older house and Greg identified many issues before we bought it. We took care of the majority of them but within about 18 months we new we wanted a bigger house in a newer subdivision west of town with better insurance ratings and a full two-car garage with an HOA and pool. Moving from the Midwest to coastal Florida needed a good home inspector to check out an expensive home for us without us being present since covid made traveling difficult. Went with Greg Berteaux at IM HOME INSPECTOR even though cost was considerably more than other quotes we received as we figured you get what you pay for and based on reviews here he seemed like a good inspector. Day 1 in the new house we became extremely disappointed in our choice. Two of the four ac units are completely failing so we are stuck in 87+ degree bedrooms until we can get the units replaced which is going to cost
