Couples and Individual Therapy in California
With over a decade of experience in mental health therapy, I specialize in helping couples and individuals cultivate healthier relationships. My practice is rooted in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), a research-backed approach that addresses emotional patterns and attachment needs. Prior to becoming a therapist, I spent 13 years in software development in Silicon Valley, giving me unique insight into the challenges faced by professionals in high-stress environments. I hold advanced training in EFT and the Gottman Method, and I am committed to ongoing education to better serve my clients. My therapy approach emphasizes safety, attunement, and creating new emotional experiences to break destructive cycles. I offer teletherapy services to clients across California and provide supervision for emerging EFT therapists. My goal is to help individuals and couples build secure, loving relationships through evidence-based practices and personalized support.

Report
We have found Sharon to be a great guide, high-integrity,well-grounded in theory and practice, always professional, constructive, calming and easy to work with. The big secret in Sharon's counsel is her ability to gently teach better approaches to conflict; to realize patterns without getting caught up in blame, recognizing instead the deeper needs beneath the surface and focusing on navigating these together. Strongly recommend.

Report
After 6 months of visiting Sharon on a weekly basis very little was gained in terms of techniques for addressing present issues. Each session was my wife and I telling her how our week went. Despite the lack of meaningful progress we continued as we felt comfortable with Sharon however when our family had a significant change in schedule we tried to switch days and continue our sessions but couldn't make it work and had to cancel. Weeks later Sharon began sending us invoices and trying to collect payment for a late cancellation of the last session we had scheduled. After attending for 6 months
