Directly in the King Salmon migration route on the outer coast of Prince Wales where many runs of king salmon stop and feed. Hands down, the Noyes Island area on the west coast of Prince of Wales is the best saltwater fishing in Alaska. Due to our close proximity to the outer coast and a mixed stock fishery, we have consistent, good fishing for salmon, halibut, and bottom fish.
The town of Craig is the gateway to fishing the Noyes Island area. Craig is one of the last unspoiled fishing towns left in Southeast Alaska. Not only will you experience world class fishing, you will also get to experience Alaska free of cruise ships and mass tourism. Anglers travel from around the world to experience the salmon, halibut, and lingcod fishing that are in our waters.

Boat and Gear
Report
We were very careful in how we selected our boats. We didn't want to go too big and pigeon hole ourselves into fishing spots that aren't very good for bottom fishing due to fuel burn. Our boats are very efficient which means we can travel to the places other lodges don't know exist or won't let their guides go to due to fuel consumption.
King and Coho Salmon
Report
King salmon fishing is very good out of Craig. Craig is the gateway to the Noyes Island area, which is one of the major feeding grounds for kings as they return to their rivers. Captain Joel is also a licensed commercial salmon troller, and he fishes the waters around Craig almost all year for king salmon.
Halibut
Report
In Southeast Alaska, we are regulated under strict halibut limits to ensure the health of the fishery and to keep us within our allocation. We have a reverse slot limit. Our size limit is has ranged anywhere from 1 under 44 to 38 inches in the last 7 years. Still a fight on lighter tackle. Halibut that size range yield a very desirable flavor and texture for eating and add a good variety to your fish box.
