While Ashanti's Treats officially opened in 2020, Ashanti Long has been serving his family and community baking cakes and pies for over 15 years. His warm homemade desserts have been known to consist of eclectic ingredients that leave the best bakers puzzled wanting more; including his 'famous' butter cake.
His wife, Tatia, is his inspiration as her sweet tooth has encouraged him to experiment with delicious new ingredients since they married in 1997.
