My husband ordered me a cake to say congrats on hitting my 100th ride on our peloton. He had my mother in law pick it up and she didn't know what the cake was supposed to look like so she just picked it up and brought it to us. When we got the cake and opened it, we noticed the grammar was insanely incorrect. They said they put what my husband told them to put but he talked to them on the phone and definitely did not as them to put and "A" or apostrophes where they did not need to go. Not sure what all these negative reviews are about... this is not grandmas bakery and they don't call you sweetie. This is a workhorse bakery banging out delicious and beautiful cakes. We called to order our cake which they did tell us needed to be two weeks in advance. They advised when we have photos and an idea of how many people to send in our ideas and call back to place our order. Placing the order over the phone was quick and easy. When we had questions we called and they answered. The cake was ready for pick up and was carried out by the shop to our car. Everyone who saw the cake gushed

Dont worry about the people saying bad thing about this place! They are just used to the cheap Walmart cakes or something because I was presented with a sample of a variety of cupcakes from a family member and becsuse of how delicious the cup cakes were, Ive decided to order my daughters birthday cake from this place! Its sooo good! Quality cake (nice and dense and moist) I love the icing. Its thst old school frosting you cant find anymore and sometimes thst kind is not for everyone, but my family loves it

We won't be back.
Went in yesterday and got a few cupcakes and cannoli. Brought the cannoli home and put it in the fridge.
Today, I picked up the cannoli and took a bite. It tasted dirty, so I took a look at it. It had mold in it! I called to tell them and was told "They were made yesterday." No apology, no offer to refund them, just "thanks for telling us".

my experience I just had with Say It With Sugar Cake Shop. It really was a toxic experience with this bakery. Reading through the reviews it seems I'm not the only person that had this experience. I bought two dozen cupcakes for my daughters birthday, to be ready Saturday the 10th between the hrs of noon and 4pm when they close. Now im a single father planning all this mind you, So if there's an issue let's just figure it out, but instead I get a call on Saturday, July 3, 30 minutes before they close from the same person I talk

Always loved this bakery. Having moved away a few years ago, whenever I'm in Dallas for work I'm required to drive from downtown Dallas to Wylie, get there at 9am to ensure I get the champagne and wedding cake ccupcake, then fly back clear across the country... Texas to NYC with Say It With Sugar cakes and cupcakes for the family. This time I brought cupcakes for friends and clients, all agree best bakery ever!!!
