We use local Cruze Farm milk and buttermilk, source eggs from cage free/hormone free sources, use pure cane sugar and of course. Magpies was born in 1992 to founder Peg Hambright. She was a graphic designer/illustrator/musician college drop-out who just wanted to make stuff. Her love of process, sugar and her desire for immediate gratification made baked goods a perfect fit.

Baked fresh to order, our cakes are available in three flavor categories-classic, deluxe, and super deluxe-and eight standard sizes, serving anywhere from 1 to 100. See the full menu for details. We can accommodate most orders with two days' notice, but we bake extras every day for cake emergencies.
Weddings

We've made thousands of couples happy on their special day and want this process to be as fun and stress-free as possible. You can also send photos of inspiration cakes, colors, and themes to weddings@magpiescakes.com. If you don't know what you want, don't worry! We'll work with you to create the perfect cake.
Custom Cakes

Our average custom cake order we fulfill is $225+ for single tier round cakes and $400+ multi-tier round cakes. We are limited to the number of custom orders we are able to take, and orders are taken on a first come, first served basis. Sending images of cakes is a great way to help us know what your expectations are and increases the efficiency of the process tremendously.
Cupcakes

We make these delicious morsels from scratch every day, using the finest ingredients available, and of course, all butter all the time. We stock the case with delightful assortments of mini cupcakes in dozens and six-packs daily, adding a seasonal super deluxe flavor every month. Regular size cupcakes are available as well, but if you need a quantity of more than a dozen or so, please call us a day ahead.
