Trimble Insurance Agency was originally founded in 1946 by J.C. (Joy) Graham. Joy was a prominent farmer in the Ashley/Delaware Ohio community and began to sell auto insurance through the Grange program to fellow farmers. Joy was not only fullfilling a need for an insurance agency in the community, his strong farming work ethic and family values laid the foundation for Trimble Insurance Agency and for the generations to come.
Joy's daughter, Twila, married her high-school sweetheart, Howard Trimble, and partnered with Joy to create the Graham-Trimble Insurance Agency in 1961. Howard and Twila moved the agency from Ashley, OH to Delaware, OH in 1975 to the location where the office currently resides. Trimble Insurance has a strong family lineage.
