Key West area is a vast area with large flats and open water areas adjacent to a large area of ocean flats. The Marquesas is a remote circle shapped, uninhabited island 22 miles from Key west.

The 17' Maverick Flats Skiff is specifically design for the shallow waters of the flats and can take a bit of chop if needed while providing a smooth ride. It is equiped with an elevated casting platform in the front of the boat which is used by the angler for sight giving you an advatage when locating fish.
