Besides being one of only two accredited cosmetic dentists in Bakersfield, Dr. Woolf serves as an examiner of other dentists applying for accreditation in cosmetic dentistry. Woolf Dental includes Dr. Woolf and five other dentists including two general dentists and three specialists. Dr. Sunwoo has double degrees as a physician with a fellowship in cosmetic surgery and as a board-certified oral surgeon.
Dr. Kobliska is a general dentist and a graduate of Western University of Health Sciences. Dr. Wong is a board-certified periodontist and was an assistant clinical professor at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. Dr. Chang is a specialist in endodontics (root canal treatment) and is a part-time faculty member in the USC Advanced Endodontics Department.

As a university student earning her bachelor of science degree, in 2002, Janie began working at Woolf Dental sterilizing dental instruments. She later worked in dental assisting, collections, and billing before becoming our receptionist. And after earning her bachelor's degree, Janie became our business manager.
Born in Manila, Philippines, Dr. Rivera moved to the U.S. in 1981 with her family. But family ties and the community make Bakersfield feel like home. Dr. Rivera's father, a physician, influenced her decision to become a dentist. She noticed that he practiced medicine with tenacity, integrity, and compassion.
Our office is located right off West Side Parkway and Calloway Drive, near Mercy Hospital - Southwest. Located in the Central Valley, Bakersfield is California's second fastest-growing city. Bakersfield is in Kern County-a top U.S. oil and agricultural producer, flourishing with grapes, citrus, almonds, and roses.

Within a few minutes of your arrival, a staff member will take you to a consultation room to review your patient forms.
Woolf Dental in Bakersfield has options to help you maintain good oral health and make it affordable. We will file your insurance claims for you and collect payment from your insurance company. We ask that you pay the estimated amount due at the time of service. CareCredit is a healthcare credit card that lets you pay for out-of-pocket expenses not covered by dental insurance.

Very nice place and friendly staff!! Instead of a cramped office, there’s plenty of space with open ceilings, with extra large ceiling fans. Dr. Kobliska was very nice, and had different options for what I needed done. The office staff had a quote from my insurance before I left! I was very surprised. Plenty of staff to get what I came for. Thank you for the experience!

The way of this office operate is very different.. they have many assistants running around the office but not do much. There were 2 patients during my appointment and other dental chairs were empty but the office said they were full and not take more patients. No reminder calls prior to the appointment, my appt
was not on their schedule. I have to call them to ensure my appointment existed

Been a patient of Woolf Dental for well over 15 years now. Wouldn't dream of going anywhere else for dental care. The entire Woolf Dental team is always so kind and professional. They all go above and beyond to make sure your comfortable with any procedure being done. I love Dr, Woolf and his staff! I have had the same hygienist for nearly 20 years! .Staff is friendly, helpful and professional. Appointment are always on time...there is never the sitting in the lobby just waiting, waiting and waiting. They just have the best system flow. Also, who doesn’t ”t love a foot massage while you are having your teeth cleaned? 🖐🏻 I do! Today, I had a cleaning and a crown ..I drive from the coast to continue being seen by Dr. Woolf and his awesome hygienist Joey!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Great place, in every aspect. Ladies up front are always so nice! Dentists and assistants are great as well. I needed about 7 cavities taken care of, 1 root canal and 2 extractions in one month’s time and every bit of it was taken care of. They are thorough in what needs to be done and when/how it needs to be done. I am extremely pleased with Woolf Dental and plan to bring my entire family in.

Amazing dental office! From the staff at the front desk to the dental hygienist and dentist, they are all awesome. Not only are the staff super friendly and professional, the building is very clean and you can even get your feet massaged while you're getting dental work done. By far the best dentist office I've ever been to! I had two fillings done and was in and out of the office in about 45 minutes.

Let me start out by saying that I am absolutely terrified of dental offices which is why I haven't a been the dentist in my adult life (25 years old currently, I know, terrible) but as soon as I entered the waiting room I felt very welcomed. Went here yesterday for my second time, first time was great! Everyone was very nice and welcoming. Second time I went I had a real procedure done because my previous dentist had injured cracked my tooth. Dr. Woolf and his rda were very nice and he did such a great job with putting a whole crown on my tooth no pain or discomfort. This will be my dentist for the rest of my life. Highly recommend him and his wonderful team!

I visited Woolf Dental for a teeth cleaning and check up. I cannot say enough good things about the office. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Woolf has a very modern, comfortable dental office with the most up to date technology available. My dental hygienist was fantastic. She was extremely knowledgeable and very gentle with my teeth. I am so happy with the care I have received at Woolf Dental! From the moment I walk in I am welcomed by the staff by name. I've never had to wait for more than a few minutes before I am taken back to a comfortable room. The office is open and so you are not locked into a tiny cubicle. There are tvs for each station, with the ability to watch what you want. I'm always offered: a heated neckroll, a foot massage (for during treatment- who ever heard of such a thing?!), and I saw some patients with a warm blanket. Be cautious about getting work done at this place. VERY EXPENSIVE!!! Do your homework because Genie at the front desk lie to you about what insurance they accept. After that they bill you at a higher rate. This is the scam that they run. They already got your money, so they don't care if they get your business again.
