A native of Michigan, Dr. Szabo completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 1994. She graduated with academic honors and recognition for clinical excellence from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2000. As an Optometry Student, Dr. Szabo served as the President of the Student Optometric Association.
