We take a unique approach to tutoring and education. Novels & Numbers is a hands-on San Diego learning center that integrates reading, writing, and mathematics along with social skills and nutrition for children in Transitional Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. At Novels & Numbers, we believe learning extends beyond the classroom.
Education should account for all aspects of a child's life - including health and wellness. By tapping into students' interests and learning styles (visual, auditory, and/or kinesthetic), we target specific goals to tutor and provide homework help, math help, reading, writing, and social skills.

We are two credentialed teachers who came together to help YOU. Our passion for teaching and love for helping others led us to start Novels & Numbers. As teachers, we have the opportunity and responsibility to empower others and find ways to cultivate their strengths. Throughout the years, we have learned it is essential to take an individualized approach with each child so he/she is able to strive and reach full academic AND social potential.

At Novels & Numbers we have experience tutoring and working with children who are diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Mild to Moderate Autism Spectrum Disorder, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, and Mild to Moderate Down Syndrome. We have also worked with children who have reading challenges, math challenges, and those who are members of the Gifted & Talented Students (GATE) program.
