Oregon Estate Wines & Vineyard Experiences
Beacon Hill Winery & Vineyard represents five generations of family farming heritage, rooted in the American West. Established in 2011 through the vision of George Hillberry and Carla Rodriguez, our estate combines over 30 years of Oregon viticultural expertise with a pioneering spirit. We specialize in crafting small-lot, estate-grown wines that reflect the unique terroir of our Yamhill-Carlton and Dundee Hills AVA vineyards. Our commitment to sustainable practices through LIVE certification ensures environmental stewardship while producing award-winning Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Albario.

As Oregon's premier Albario producer, we blend traditional techniques with innovative approaches to create wines that capture the essence of our land. Our hospitality extends beyond wine, offering immersive experiences through vineyard tours, private tastings, and event hosting in architecturally stunning settings. With deep community ties and a focus on quality, we aim to create lasting legacies through every bottle produced and every guest experience.

Questions
What makes Beacon Hill's Albariño unique to Oregon?
Our Albariño thrives in Yamhill-Carlton's marine soils and cool climate, mirroring Spain's Galicia region. The grape benefits from our sustainable viticulture and George Hillberry's expertise from living in Spain.
Can I visit without a reservation?
Walk-ins are welcome for groups of 6 or fewer during regular hours. Reservations are required for parties of 8+ and recommended for all visitors up to 60 days in advance.
What sustainability practices do you implement?
We maintain LIVE Certified Sustainability standards across all operations, including organic viticulture practices, habitat preservation, and environmentally responsible winemaking techniques.
Are food options available with tastings?
Yes, we offer charcuterie boards, popcorn, and seasonal food menus. Guests may also bring their own food for picnicking on the lawn during live music events.
How do your vineyard locations influence wine character?
Our Yamhill-Carlton marine soils produce distinct white wines while Dundee Hills' Jory soils create structured Pinot Noirs. Each AVA's unique terroir contributes to our portfolio's diversity.
What special events do you host annually?
We feature summer music series, twilight tastings, harvest dinners, and holiday events including the Laughlin Loop passport program. Check our calendar for specific dates and ticket information.

Amazing staff, experience and wine! Everyone was so welcoming and knowledgeable. Definitely a must stop in OR! Chris and Paige made our first stop of our day the best!

Had the most lovely experience with Paige and Chris at Beacon Hill. They were super hospitable, friendly and insightful with their wine knowledge . A must go type of spot. My fave was the 2019 Pinot Noir, Beacon Hill and their 2019 Chardonnay. Definitely add it to your wine tour experience!

It was a beautiful experience. I always wanted to do a wine tasting at an estate and although I had different and maybe unrealistic expectations, they did not disappoint. The reason for taking off one star. We were doing a flight and had asked for a charcuterie board since making the reservation and it was confirmed as soon as we checked in. 4 glasses in still... no board. We finally asked and sure enough it was forgotten. Fortunately it was brought in and we were given 2 bonus drinks. I ended up buying 2 bottles because it was delicious. Also the place itself is picture perfect.

We booked their guest house via Airbnb for a two night stay. They have a small beautiful cabin on top of the hill with stunning views of the vineyard and complete privacy, just what we needed during the Covid times. Woke up with chirping sounds of so many birds. The stay comes with complimentary wine tasting at their tasting room. The wines were ok but would definitely go back for the cabin.

Took some friends here for wine, ended up as a member. The wine is excellent, the views are amazing, and the service is even better. I've visited several great wineries and vineyards in the Willamette Valley but this one just feels they most... comfortable. Great place to hang out on weekend!

Great boutique winery just 50 minutes from downtown Portland. Great staff and customer service. A good selection of Pinot Noir options as well as several other wines. We visited to see & listen to The Bylines on a wonderful Sunday afternoon with a breeze that kept it from getting too warm. This is a great place to enjoy an afternoon of tasting & enjoying their wines!
