We are licensed and certified by the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration to teach Driver Education, Driver Improvement and the Safe and Sober (3 hour drug and alcohol program). The Basic Driver's Ed package offers 30 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours of behind the wheel training. Classroom topics include basic driving techniques, defensive driving, rules of the road, alcohol and driving, various driving environments. To pass the classroom part of the driver education course, the student must attend all 30 hours of class; participate in class activities and, score a minimum of 80 on each test/final exam.

To pass the classroom portion of the driver education course, students must attend all 30 hours of class; participate in class activities and score a minimum of 80% on the final exam.To register we only require $150 deposit to secure your spot in the upcoming class and the balance is due before the last day of the classroom session of the program.

Thank you for choosing Beltway Driving Academy for your driver education course. Our goal is to teach new students how to become safe responsible drivers. Doing so, the cooperation of students and parents is extremely important during the "Behind-the-Wheel" phase of your Driver Education program.
The Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration requires that every student under the age of 25 complete a minimum of 60 hours of supervised driving with a parent or a supervising driver who is at least 21 years of age and has held a driver's license for 3 years.
