Our family went fishing in July. Although we only caught 2 keepers it was a lot of fun. The captain was very patient with our boys 11/14. It was a great family trip and we plan on flying back again for some 1/2 day excursions! The driver was on time and very pleasant. Thanks for making it a great day! The Peng Family

We charted a boat through Alaska Strike Zone Sportfishing for a day while we were in Ketchikan off of our Alaska cruise. We made our arrangements via email through them before we arrived in Ketchikan. They were very thorough in what the process was and what the pricing was. What an amazing day! Captain Alex put us on the Fish! We caught our limit of Halibut and had the fish shipped back home. He was so knowledgeable and assisted all five of us when needed! We fish around the world when we travel and Captain Alex was great! Will definitely charter again with this group!

We enjoyed the trip. Weather was nice. The captain tried hard for us to catch some Halibut but they were not biting. Talked to others and they did not catch any either. Enjoyed the trip.

Ok so I am no Novice fisherman. I tournament fish, have a partner that qualifies for crappiemasters. My young boat captain was not an experienced fisherman. He did what he was taught with no adjustments till my suggestions. We had 6 bites in 2.5 hrs of fishing, all but 1 of those bites came on 1 rod at a certain depth. So you can tell the fish were not really feeding hard. Now knowing this you would think that all rods would go to within 5 feet depth of the 1 rod getting bites. Nope was told to trust my captain. Well I finally told him to put the same lure on another rod and depth. He said that

We had a great time and caught a lot of fish. Instead of trolling for salmon, we elected to fish for other Alaskan species. All of the captains were fantastic. Even though they are not related, it felt like one big family.
