Dr. Penn Moody was raised in South Charleston, WV. After graduation he attended IU in Bloomington where he graduated from the School of Optometry in 1975. He has had a varied career path. He founded Moody Eyes in 2005 with the goal of providing excellent eye care and affordable, quality eyeglasses and contact lenses.

Dr. Moody or Dr. Lambert carefully examine your vision and review your exam results with you. They make recommendations on how to best address your vision issues. After all your questions are answered, you are escorted to the frame area, where a stylist is waiting for you. With hundreds of independent frame brands to choose, you find several that fit your style and budget.

Stop by our office to actually try-on frames and get professional fitting advice. You will spend less than you think and get glasses you will love to wear.

Adjusting to No-Line Progressive Lenses

You will feel like a bird the first few days as you move your head around to find the right area of the lens;. Give yourself 7-10 days to adjust - please let us know if you're still having issues please after this;. After 20-years of explaining this to patients, it still took 3-days for me to adjust to my first pair.
