Poorly organized establishment. Why is it so difficult to get seen by an ophthalmologist in an eye emergency situation? Not everyone wants to sleep off a retinal detachment. The funny thing is, a doctor is always on call in this establishment. Guess what! They will also tell you to your face that you shouldn't go to an ER because evidently "They won't be able to do anything to help you." A licensed medical professional telling you not to go to an ER for an emergency type of situation is an alarming thing. My advice to anyone who sees this review, is to always listen to your body and if you think

Normally on time for appointments, very thorough and communication with staff and Dr Hopen is without question excellent. Very happy I switched Opthalmologists as my care at Abrams Eye Care is far superior.

First of all the technician that called me back was very positive by reminding me how blessed I was. I was feeling sad due to my vision change and pain. He shared with me that he had found his purpose in life, which was to love others. This cracked my heart open to remind me of the love that God has for me. So with that I will trust in the Lord to place divine understanding in the mind of My Doctors to come to a conclusion with the cause of inflammation within my eyes. It's always been a wonderful experience when I go to Abrams. Dr. Betty Jo Lloyd really knows her stuff. I would have lost my eyesight due to diabetes if she hadn't acted quickly and sent me to another specialist for lazer surgery. Ten surgery's and five years later I can see. Dr B. Lloyd keeps a very good watch on my condition and sees me every 6 months. I thank you so much
