Services
Arthritis Pain Relief
Our arthritis management program combines manual therapy and targeted exercises to reduce joint inflammation and improve mobility. Certified therapists create customized plans to strengthen surrounding muscles and improve daily function for patients with osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Treatment includes thermal therapy and ergonomic education to minimize pain during everyday activities while preventing further joint deterioration.
Dry Needling
Certified physical therapists use ultra-thin needles to target muscle trigger points causing chronic pain. This technique promotes blood flow and releases tension in affected areas like shoulders, back, and hips. Patients typically experience significant relief within 1-2 sessions, with improved range of motion and reduced muscle stiffness making it particularly effective for sports-related injuries and repetitive strain conditions.
Cupping Therapy
Modern cupping therapy uses controlled suction to lift soft tissues and increase circulation. This technique effectively treats chronic neck/back pain, fibromyalgia, and sports injuries by releasing myofascial restrictions. Sessions improve lymphatic drainage while reducing muscle tension, with visible results often achieved through multiple treatments combined with complementary physical therapy exercises.
Electrical Stimulation
Our electrical stimulation therapy delivers controlled currents to manage acute and chronic pain conditions. This modality reduces inflammation, prevents muscle atrophy, and improves range of motion through targeted nerve stimulation. Therapists customize TENS and EMS settings to address specific conditions like sciatica, post-surgical recovery, and neurological impairments while ensuring patient comfort throughout treatment sessions.
Ergonomic Assessments
Comprehensive ergonomic evaluations identify risk factors in home and work environments contributing to musculoskeletal disorders. Therapists provide customized recommendations for workstation setup, posture correction, and activity modification to prevent repetitive strain injuries. Follow-up sessions ensure proper implementation of ergonomic improvements that reduce workplace injury costs by up to 40% through proactive musculoskeletal health management.

I had trouble with a shoulder bone spur, but I received great care at the Barneveld Fitness Forum -- really above and beyond what the therapists were required to provide. They are thoughtful and thorough, and it's a great place to go for PT.

Jim, Mary, Joshua, and Rebecca were great. Got me in right away after I strained my calf. After 1 visit, I had noticeable improvement. After only 6 visits, I'm back to normal. They really know therapy, knew exactly what I needed. Can't thank them enough.

I had an excellent experience at this office. The staff is professional and friendly, and it was always a pleasant time when I had my appointments. I never had a problem scheduling appointments, the staff was always very flexible. My hip bursitis is so much improved from when I started treatments! The therapists are so knowledgeable and explain everything about your condition and how the treatments will work to help you. I plan to continue with the prescribed exercises at home. I definitely recommend the Barneveld office to anyone!
