STACIA KENET, MD is the founder of Pediatric Alternatives, opening the office in 1998. She graduated from Tufts University Medical School in Boston, MA, in 1989 and completed her pediatric residency at Oakland Children Hospital, Oakland, CA, in 1992.
In addition to her training in western medicine, Dr. Kenet studied herbal medicine at the Pacific School of Herbal Medicine and is experienced using homeopathic medicine and energy medicine techniques in her practice.Early on in my pediatric career I realized that the disease-focused care I was trained in did not fit my beliefs of how to best care for children, and that we needed a new model.

At Pediatric Alternatives, through our combined training in western medicine, homeopathy, herbal medicine, naturopathic medicine and nutrition, we are able to treat more illnesses naturally without the use of antibiotics or other prescription medications.

If I miss an appointment, is there a cancellation fee? Yes, our cancellation fee is $125. Appointment changes or cancellations must be at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. For Monday appointments we need to be notified the prior Friday to avoid a cancellation fee. Homeopathic Constitutionals must be canceled 48 hours in advance to avoid a charge of $300.
