Services
Comprehensive Eye Exam
Our annual comprehensive eye exam evaluates vision and eye health using advanced diagnostic technology. We screen for conditions like glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataracts while providing precise glasses prescriptions. This preventive service helps detect systemic health issues through ocular indicators, recommended for all ages but particularly adults over 40 and children before school age.
Contact Lens Exam
Specialized contact lens evaluations address standard and complex vision needs including astigmatism and keratoconus. Our optometrists ensure proper fit and comfort through corneal topography mapping and trial lens adaptations. We specialize in hard-to-fit cases requiring multifocal, scleral, and orthokeratology lenses for both vision correction and therapeutic purposes.
Medical Eye Care
Comprehensive management of ocular diseases includes glaucoma monitoring, diabetic retinopathy screenings, and macular degeneration treatments. Our practice provides urgent care for eye infections, chemical injuries, and sudden vision changes. We utilize diagnostic equipment for early detection and coordinate surgical referrals when necessary.
Emergency Eye Care
Same-day evaluation and treatment for acute ocular conditions including corneal abrasions, chemical burns, and infectious conjunctivitis. Our optometrists manage foreign body removal and trauma cases during regular business hours. We recommend immediate after-hours care at urgent facilities for vision-threatening emergencies requiring immediate attention.
Myopia Control
Evidence-based interventions slow myopia progression in children through customized treatment plans. Options include orthokeratology lenses worn overnight, specialized soft contact lenses, and low-dose atropine therapy. Our approach combines regular progress monitoring with lifestyle recommendations to manage nearsightedness development during critical growth years.

We love Nova Eye Care and that's because of Dr Kelly , Dr Lee and her entire staff. We've been going for a few years now and we are never disappointed, always good results . We just had this years exam a few months ago and my husband was told he had bad cataracts , Dr. Kelly refereed my husband to the best surgeon around to get checked sure enough both eyes were bad . He got surgery and today we returned to Dr. Kelly to get checked and once again my husband got a great exam , no longer transitional glasses needed and Dr. Kelly got him all set for a new prescription all he needs is new

Dr Lee and her staff are wonderful! I appreciate feeling welcomed at the front and how they preconfirmed all my information so I didn't have to waste too much time waiting. This year was my second time come back to see Dr Lee at Nova Eye Care Center. I used to see her at another practice in Merrifield and just had to follow her to her new place. This time, I brought my six year old son with me and they were very accommodating to doing our exams concurrently so I could stay with him the whole time. We were able to get a copy of our prescription immediately (not the case at other practices

I would strongly recommend avoiding this practice due to shady billing practices, which is something others seem to have noted in their reviews. Short version: during a vision exam in 2018, the doctor touched the front of my eye with a swab, allegedly to remove an eyelash. I had not asked for this procedure nor would I have agreed to it for any kind of fee---not only did it take about 5 seconds, but I'm perfectly capable of getting an eyelash off the front of my eye by myself. Nova EyecareCenter proceeded to charge me and my insurance*hundreds* of dollars for this event, claiming that

AVOID at all costs! This place is the most unprofessional and unorganized business I've encountered. I stopped going there years ago, yet received a collections notice for a small amount of money for a service they claim I had in 2011. 9 YEARS AGO! When I called the office, the said that the agency had the wrong info and it was from 2015 and they also provided me a different amount that they claim I owe. They have never attempted to send me an invoice, call or email me, but now suddenly say I owe them $79. Instead of returning my phone call, they took the easy route and emailed me, not even

Update: the investigation shows they actually billed my health and vision insurance, two different companies, for the same eye exam on the same date. Yikes. I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure double billing is a problem.
Went in for routine annual exams for glasses and contacts. Costs $60 through my vision insurance. I specifically told the front desk I didn't want anything that isn't included in that. I told the doctor I have dry eyes and so I'd prefer contacts that account for this. She proceeded to give me eye drops and continued with the exam. Well, apparently the
