I made an appointment here to see if I was qualified for Lasik eye surgery. Now that I'm getting older, I'm finding it harder and harder to see clearly, so I was curious to see if I did qualify and what the cost would be. Unfortunately I didn't qualify, but then found out that the screening was free. I was expecting to pay out of pocket for at least a copay for the screening. The staff here were all very pleasant. Checked me in and updated any information since I went for a visit previously last year for an issue I had with a stuck fake eyelash behind my eyeball. Yes my eyeball

This is a poor review and this is why. The office called to remind me of my appointment and asked why I hadn't done the questionnaire they emailed. None sent. They resent it 30mins before my app. Upon arrival for appointment, I waited 45mins to see the doctor! I asked how much longer and oops, I had been over looked!

I was considered legally blind and life was extremely challenging if I didn't wear my contacts or glasses. My glasses were so thick, that even when I had the polycarbonate, I couldn't wear them for more than a couple of hours before getting painful grooves on my nose and a headache from the pressure on my ears. Finally decided to make lasik a top priority and after careful research it became quite apparent that getting it done at Jenkins eye care was the only choice. Knowing that Dr. Jenkins is a pioneer in the field, nationally recognized as one of the top cataract and lasik surgeons in the country really gave me a piece of mind. I waited two months from my first visit to the surgery day which was yesterday. Schedule your appointment now because they are very busy. On a last note I just want to say her and her staff truly made this whole experience so pleasant and easy. If you want Lasik look no further
