Dr. Elise Lew-Louie graduated from UC Berkeley, where she earned dual degrees in Physiological Optics and Neuro-Biology. She serves as an instructor at Kapiolani Community College and is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
Nora Chan
Doctor of Optometry
Dr. Nora Chan received her Doctor of Optometry with Distinction from Pacific University after completing her undergraduate studies at UCLA. She currently serves on the Iolani Alumni Board and the Hawaii Optometric Association.
Peili Lin
Doctor of Optometry
Dr. Peili Lin earned her Doctor of Optometry from the State University of NY College of Optometry. She previously served as President of the Hawaii Optometric Association and teaches at Kapiolani Community College.

My hubby and I needed new glasses. Costco didn't have appointments until next year and this was September. The appointment was for October so yay! The safety protocols were outstanding. If it's not your turn you wait outside. They ask screening questions beforehand and take temperature upon arrival. The exam was thorough. Their frame selection was excellent and I found a pair in my budget quickly. The glasses were ready in a week. I'm so glad Costco was backed up because I'd never think to go anywhere else. Now this is my new go to.

I've been going to a lot of medical offices during our COVID-19 pandemic and the optometrists and staff here are far and above the most focused on patient screening, health, and safety that I have encountered. I can understand how some might view the process as being cumbersome and excessive but Based on my own experiences here I feel perfectly safe dropping off my dad, who is in a high risk group due to his age, and leaving him completely in their hands during his appointment. It starts when you are called the day before for pre-screening and told what to expect when you arrive for your

Hands down the most safest place I seen so far since COVID pandemic. They really have it all down to the social distancing, sanitizing, & PPE. Awesome job!!!
