Dr. Daniel Yamamoto has served the eye care needs of Hawaii for over 33 years. Born and raised in Honolulu, Dr. Dan attended Pacific University and Pacific University College of Optometry. He is a member of the Hawaii Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. As an eye doctor, Dr. Dan has a special interest in difficult rigid gas permeable contact lens fits.
Our Location & Hours

We are located on the 11th floor of the Ala Moana Building right in the heart of Honolulu. Our office is directly adjacent to the Ala Moana Shopping Center. With ample parking located in the shopping center, our office is easily accessible by car and public transportation. We are open five days a week including Saturdays.

Our eye doctors participate with many medical and vision insurance plans. Whether we are in-network or out-of-network for your plan, we are happy to file most claims for you. If you do not see your plan listed below, please contact our office for more assistance. If you participate in a Flex Spend program through your employer, you can use your dollars on frames, prescription sunglasses, and contact lenses or eye exams.

We offer a complete selection of high quality eyeglasses and sunglasses. Our office is an authorized Oakley dealer and we carry a wide selection of eyeglass frames for both children and adults. We also offer many frames that are designed to fit our Asian patients.
