We remember when we were children, feeling uncertainty about beginning martial arts. We wondered if we had what it took to succeed and we weren't the most athletic or confident of children - quite the opposite. Little did we know that beginning our martial arts journey would be one of the most profound experiences of our lives!

When we opened our school in 1999, we made a commitment to serving and empowering the community of McMurray by teaching children and adults the confidence, leadership, and fitness skills that can only be achieved through martial arts. At ATA McMurray, our #1 goal is to make a difference in the lives of our students.

ATA Tigers Ages 4-7

Report

The ATA Tiger curriculum program was developed specifically for children ages 4 through 7. This program offers children a strong foundation in essential character qualities such as courtesy, respect, and discipline. In addition, the program is designed to improve children's motor skills and enhance their ability to pay attention and follow directions.

Karate Kids Ages 7-13

ATA "Karate Kids" is a specialized program created exclusively for children. The Karate Kids classes are for children ages 7 through 13. The foundation of the Karate Kids curriculum is the education and development of life-skills such as positive mental attitude, high goal setting, perseverance, self-control and confidence.

Innovative Self-Defense

Our mission is to empower individuals by providing tactical, innovative, and practical self-defense education. With over 30 years combined Martial Arts and Combat Arts experience, our goal is to provide individuals with the confidence to live their daily lives, free from the fear of being unable to act in the event that they are threatened with harm.
