Dr. Powers spent 25 years as a tax accountant on Cape Cod before electing to return to school and pursue her long-held desire to become a Veterinarian.
She completed her undergraduate work in bio-medical molecular biology at Bridgewater State University and received her DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine; fulfilling a clinical year at the Boren Veterinary Hospital at Oklahoma State University and a surgical preceptorship at the Queen Mother Hospital for Small Animals at the London University Royal Veterinary College.
