I've been seeing Igor now for a year and he is great! He is thoughtful about his treatment and has an excellent bedside manner. I sought acupuncture from him when dealing with some ongoing neck issues and have made great progress. I highly recommend him and Avicenna Acupuncture.

Petra & Igor at Avicenna were instrumental in my recovery from a major cycling accident. See details below for my story:
While mountain biking; I sustained a severe hematoma on my leg (among other injuries). The injury required a MRI because doctors were afraid I tore my quadriceps muscles. The MRI came back negative but the amount of blood pooled in my leg raised much concern for blood clotting and Compartment Syndrome. Doctors also indicated I may have limited movement in my leg for the rest of my life. Rather than the traditional RICE method; I chose to utilize a combined recovery approach

I drive my sister to her appointments with Petra for cancer treatment-related lymphedema. Before each appointment I watch her struggle to get in the car. After each massage she comes out with a smile of relief and lightness in her movements. Petra is knowledgeable, experienced, calming and has a wonderfully healing touch.
