Affordable Counseling Program
Our sliding-scale counseling services provide accessible mental health support for individuals facing financial constraints. Sessions range from $25-$65 based on income, offering therapy for individuals, couples, and families. This program helps clients develop coping strategies and achieve personal growth through evidence-based practices.
Private Practitioners
Independent healing professionals offer diverse modalities including counseling, wellness coaching, and alternative medicine. Practitioners maintain their own schedules while adhering to ethical guidelines and the People House philosophy of personal empowerment and spiritual exploration.
Workshops & Groups
Regularly scheduled workshops cover mindfulness, personal growth, and wellness topics. These group sessions provide educational opportunities and peer support in areas like stress management, spiritual development, and mental health awareness across Denver and Aurora locations.
Spiritual Community

Fees range $25-$65 hourly based on household income under $65,000 annually, with consideration for specific financial circumstances.

Do you serve areas outside Denver?
We serve the Denver metro area including Aurora locations, but do not provide counseling services outside Colorado.
What if I need emergency help?
For crises, please call 911 or your local emergency line as People House is not a crisis center.

I got to go for my first time with my therapist before all this stuff went down. It's a cute little house with parking in the back. There is a ramp entrance into the waiting area if you enter from the back lot (only street parking out front). I love that they have made it so homely! They have actual cups to use for coffee and the restroom has individual towels to dry your hands off... that way you aren't using a dirty towel to dry them with! When I was here there was the cutest dog! So cute and lovable!

People House offers a unique approach to counseling by offering sliding scale fees, basically prices are based upon your income. The services are provided by graduate students looking for hands on experience in their field of study. I was assigned to Alicia Hubbell and I was very pleased with her professional demeanor, gentle compassion and helpful suggestions and strategies. It seems to me that everyone would need counseling services from time to time as life doles out lemons and challenges. If this is where you find yourself now, then you should consider People House. Income based counseling provided by Grad students. Thanks to this incredible place holding space for anyone and everyone that needs it they have helped me and so many people I have referred there. The man who started it is an angel, and so are all the people who keep it going. Mental health is so very important. Take care of yourself.

I can't say enough good about People House. They provide a wide range of services targeted toward mental health as well as spiritual/personal growth to populations who would otherwise have difficulty affording them. This is a truly amazing organization made up of wonderful people.

This is a great option for people needing therapy who can't afford to pay full price. Great intern and staff with a variety of specialties. Very welcoming and comfortable space.

This place is pretty great. You can get therapy or find groups or classes or meditation seminars. Whatever you need. Super clean and cute little house with unique office rooms.
