Culmore Clinic was founded in 2007 by dedicated volunteers committed to addressing healthcare disparities in Northern Virginia. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we provide free and low-cost medical care, counseling, and specialty referrals to uninsured adults in the Baileys Crossroads community. I went to the clinic today and I have biggest pain in my foot even I couldnt walk because my foot is swollen. So the nurse she walks with me to the doctor room she told me to set down until the doctor will see you.

While this place is without doubt a noble and much needed endeavor staffed with bright and compassionate people, my initial interaction with the service "manager" Dee Dee leave me with serious reservation about either visiting or volunteering here. Said individual was rude, condescending and lack any semblance of compassion, cultural sensitivity and professionalism--traits essential in interacting with people of diverse backgrounds. In contrast, the clinic director Ms. Colby was respectful, attentive and understanding. That and the fact that this type of service is desperately needed in the community
