Manual Techniques
Our manual therapy incorporates Wolfe Kinetic Technique and Feldenkrais methods to re-educate neuromuscular patterns. Certified practitioners use hands-on mobilization for spinal alignment, joint function, and pain relief. This approach benefits pets with arthritis, post-surgical recovery, or neurological conditions by restoring natural movement patterns.
Underwater Treadmills
Underwater treadmill sessions build muscle strength while minimizing joint stress. Adjustable water levels and speeds accommodate individual rehabilitation needs. This modality enhances recovery from orthopedic injuries, improves cardiovascular health, and supports weight management programs for dogs of all sizes.
Sports Conditioning
Custom conditioning programs optimize performance for canine athletes in agility, flyball, and field trials. We utilize balance equipment, resistance training, and gait analysis to enhance coordination, endurance, and injury prevention for working dogs and competition animals.
Exotic Animal Therapy
Specialized rehabilitation for zoo animals including tapirs, komodo dragons, and sea lions. Our techniques address spinal dysfunctions, arthritis, and post-injury recovery through adapted manual therapies and custom exercise programs developed in collaboration with veterinary teams.
Geriatric Care
Comprehensive mobility solutions for aging pets combine pain management, gentle exercise, and assistive devices. We address degenerative joint disease, muscle atrophy, and neurological decline through tailored interventions that maintain comfort and quality of life for senior animals.

While referrals aren't required, we collaborate closely with veterinarians. Many cases come through vet recommendations, and we maintain regular communication with primary care providers throughout treatment.
What should I expect during the first visit?
Initial consultations include comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, and client education. Therapists evaluate mobility, discuss medical history, and demonstrate home exercise programs for continued care.
How long do therapy sessions last?
Sessions typically range from 30-60 minutes depending on treatment complexity. Frequency varies from daily acute care to weekly sessions for maintenance programs tailored to each patient's needs.

After a severe leg injury our GSP couldn't put any weight on his leg at all. After surgery, the atrophy was significant. K9's Chelsea gave a great assessment and was extremely knowledgeable. After months of weekly rehab work he is back to his old self and happy as can be. I can't be more appreciative of their work. If you know how beneficial PT is for a human after a surgery, then you have to treat your pet the same.

The therapist who did my dog's assessment was great and very knowledgeable which is why I gave three stars. However, they weren't really practicing correct distancing for COVID and the worst part was that she didn't wait to warm up the water and when she went to put my dog in the 'cold' water, all this black dog hair started floating to the surface- my dog's fur is white. They don't even clean between each client!! I think it's disgusting, especially at the prices they are charging. YUCK!! I gave my dog a bath the moment I got home.

I took my 3.5year old husky here for rehab on a shoulder injury. The facility was caring and wonderful - the staff was extremely attentive and helped guide my dog to be able to return back to the park and play with his friends without a limp or pain. We enjoy the continued guidance and highly recommend this facility.

My review is based on my pups second/last visit. We had an underwater treadmill session (PT for a broken leg). Unfortunately the office manager who was helping him get off of the treadmill didnt keep him from jumping off the raised machine (not intentional but the staff should be so much more cautious as a jump like that can easily cause a reinjury). It was upsetting and worrisome as he is only 6 weeks from his break and 2 weeks out of his cast. The office manager and owner were apologetic after I called to express my concern, but I dont feel comfortable with what happened/lack of oversight

We absolutely LOVE this place and especially Chelsea! She goes above and beyond to help our little Inu girl out with her bad back. We were told 2 years ago Inu would need surgery ... she was shaking because she was in so much pain and would drag her back feet. We consistently bring Inu here and she is back to running around like a wild woman that she is. We are so happy we found them! On top of that, Chelsea does such a great job making K9 a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Inu gets so excited to go! Whenever I tell her we are going to see Chelsea she gives me a head tilt and waits by the door
