Great time and awesome turnout at our Inaugural Precision KOP/Spring Mount Kids In-House Tournament! (We will work on the name). ATTN: With a lot of Montgomery County, Philly, and NJ getting hit with severe flooding and storm damage, Muay-Thai is CANCELLED tonight and BJJ will be an Open Mat. Hopefully everyone affected by this storm is hanging in there.

Brazilian Jiu-jitsu (BJJ) is also known as the "gentle art" and involves manipulating an opponent's force against themselves instead of confronting it with one's own force. By teaching students different techniques and having them work in a wide range of common situations, they are able to make educated decisions, protect themselves and make physical progress.

Brazilian Jiu-jitsu (BJJ) is also known as the "gentle art" and involves manipulating an opponent's force against themselves instead of confronting it with one's own force. It teaches that proper application of technique and leverage can successfully allow a smaller person to defend themselves against a much bigger, stronger opponent.
Kids Jiu-Jitsu
Report
Our kids program offers self-defense and Jiu-Jitsu for children ages 7-15. By teaching students different techniques and having them work in a wide range of common situations, they are able to make educated decisions, protect themselves and make physical progress. Grappling is not all fun and games and this incredible workout demands disciplined efforts if one is to make progress.

Muay Thai
Report
Muay Thai is a combat sport from Thailand that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. The word muay derives from the Sanskrit mavya which means "to bind together".

Muay Thai is referred to as the "Art of Eight Limbs" or the "Science of Eight Limbs" because it makes use of punches, kicks, elbows and knee strikes, thus using eight "points of contact", as opposed to "two points" (fists) in boxing and "four points" (hands and feet) used in other more regulated combat sports, such as kickboxing and savate.A practitioner of Muay Thai is known as a Nak Muay.
