Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. Stephanie uses two languages in her day to day life. She primarily lives and practices Counselling in English while a student in the Douglas College Sign Language Interpreting program to work towards translating psychological resources into American Sign Language.

Counselling is designed to meet your needs. Some people feel very comfortable sharing with someone new while others prefer more time to become open. Some people are hoping for tools to take home while some prefer a supportive place to let go of life's burdens. Each person's needs are unique to them and a therapist is there to meet you in that place.

Counselling for Pet Loss

Anger: At yourself or the veterinary care providers for not being able to save your beloved pet, or even at your pet, for breaking your heart. Acceptance: I can honour and remember my pet with love and know I will be okay, and eventually, better than okay. It is heartbreaking to loose a pet and a counsellor will provide come alongside you so you can experience the difficult emotions in a supported way.
