Grace Neighborhood Academy is an outreach ministry of the Grace Neighborhood Development Corporation and Grace-Trinity United Church of Christ. The facility, located at 5221 Oxford Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia, addresses the childcare needs of the community by providing safe, affordable, and reliable care in an enriching educational environment.

We are excited to share with you some things about us. We started out with less than 20 students with no Keystone Star level. Currently we are a family of 148 children with 24 full time staff. We are Keystone Star level 3 with the anticipation of completing our Keystone Star level 4 soon. We are also enrolling our program with United Way Success By 6 which will help expand our staff in their professional skills.

Grace Neighborhood Academy teachers are all warm, nurturing, trained, and qualified professionals. They are all selected for their ability to engage children warmly in the learning process through the use of effective and unique lesson plans. Lead teachers have a degree in early childhood education or a related field while the assisting teacher(s) have a combination of formal education and experience.

We offer several types of child care programs, all of which will be exciting as well as educational. There will be an emphasis on social skills as the children are engaged in hands-on activities that will include math, science, language development, arts, music, and more. The programs offered include Infant care, Toddler Care, Preschool, and Summer camp.
