It is the philosophy of St John's Nursery School to provide developmentally appropriate experiences where all children can flourish in a safe and nurturing environment. At St. John's, children are encouraged to work and play. Through the structure of daily routine and under the guidance of trained teachers, children learn to transition from home to school, socialize appropriately, and prepare academically.
Our classrooms are busy, happy, noisy, and creative learning environments. Each day children participate in activities that are tied to weekly themes. Students experience literature, music, craft projects and participate in activities and play linked to each theme. As children progress through our school, they are continually encouraged to become more independent, which prepares them to be confident, life-long learners.

Report
Lunch Bunch and Creative Crew are social opportunities for our Middies and PreK AM students offered on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. These programs are flexible and children may attend whenever their schedule permits. Children who are attending will need a packed lunch (we do not refrigerate or heat any lunches).
Portal
Report
The portal allows parents to get information about their students and register their children for events such as Lunch Bunch. Teachers also use the Portal to take attendance and access student contact information. Public access to this site is limited to form access and registration. Registration for the 2022 - 2023 school year will open to the public in mid-late January of 2022.
