American Tae Kwon DO Karate Center
Established Instructor Since 1971, Taekwondo instruction by Grand Master Il K. Kim is professional and personal training for life. It will lead to a change of Body, a change of Mind and a Change of Self, all for the good of the individual, family, and community. The first purpose of Taekwondo is to develop strength of character in terms of the Taekwondo tenets of Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control and Indomitable Spirit.

The second purpose is to develop mental strength and toughness in terms of a clear mind, clear thinking, mental focus and self confidence. The third purpose is to develop physical health, strength and flexibility along with an effective set of practical self-defense and fighting skills.

Work out and learn to defend yourself at the same time! Taekwondo provides an exciting alternative to the traditional work-outs. Unlike any programmed, machine-like routine, our Adult Taekwondo program allows for a more dynamic and energetic class. Since 1971, Kim's TKD has been helping adults improve their physical and mental health, as well as their overall well-being.
