Crystal Woods Golf Course was originally designed by Bill Langford in the early 1950s. The 9-hole, par 37 course was then known as Bit O' Heather G.C. until 1967. In 1967, architect Charles Wagstaff blended the old with the new as the redesigned course became a par 72 with 18 holes.
