Founded by Dale Locklair after his graduation from Clemson University with a degree in Ornamental Horticulture, he set out to create a full service landscape company. With a loan of $2,000 from his parents, Dale purchased some "essential" equipment ( i.e., an old pickup truck, garden hose, shovels, etc.) and with no other assets or income, he went to
