Lake George is 32 miles long & up to 3 miles wide. There are 184 lovely wooded islands mostly in the shallow waters in the middle of the lake called "The Narrows." Surrounded by the Adirondacks, the views are spectacular. Lake George is also known for some of the finest freshwater sport fishing opportunities found anywhere.
