Boone Funeral Homes has been in existence in Evansville, Indiana since the late 1800's. Founded as Klee Funeral Home at 1st Street and Ingle, Boone Funeral Homes then became Klee & Burkhardt Funeral Home at 4th Street and Chandler Avenue. In 1947, George W. and Charles W. Boone acquired the establishment and Boone Funeral Homes was formally born.
