Pinson Dawson started in the optical business back in the late 1940's with Bausch & Lomb. He began a tradition of hard work and honesty in the Anniston area in 1952 under the business name of J.A. Weiss & Sons in a building located at 9th and Wilmer. Pinson remained at that location doing wholesale lab work for doctors throughout the state of Alabama
