Meet Our Doctors

Dr. Cor developed a love for science & animals while growing up on a farm in southern Wisconsin. He did his pre-vet work at Dordt College and then graduated from Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1987. Fillmore Veterinary Hospital was founded by Dr. Merle Watts in 1956, and after being here a year, Dr. Cor then bought him out at the end of 1988 and became the sole owner.

Our administrative assistants and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. We are currently booking out about 3-4 weeks for routine appointments, so please call us ahead of when your pet is due for vaccines. For more urgent illnesses, we usually have a number of same-day appointments available, but they do book up fast.

Payment is expected when services are rendered. In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service, and minimizing costs, we do not bill or offer payment plans. We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Care Credit), checks and cash. All cards must be signed by the owner of the card.
