Services
Dentistry
Report
Dental disease in pets is often "out of sight, out of mind." We usually don't know there is a problem brewing until our pet displays drooling, foul-smelling breath, or difficulty eating. An important part of your pet's annual exam is to evaluate the mouth for signs of periodontal disease, tooth root resorbtion, and other anomalies which might lead to oral infections, pain, and premature loss of teeth.
General Medicine & Surgery
Report
Our experienced and knowledgeable Veterinarians are prepared to diagnose and treat most of the ailments your pet may experience, using the most current methods, techniques, and medications available. Our talented support staff will insure that your pet receives compassionate, attentive care, rendered by people who really love what they do.
Spay and Neuter Package
Report
Every year, thousands of homeless animals are put to sleep in our community, due to insufficient numbers of people willing or able to take them in and provide them with the homes they deserve. Dealing with pet over-population has become a moral imperative for our community, which we can no longer ignore or sweep under the rug.
Micro-Chipping
Report
Having a micro-chip implanted in your pet provides it with a permanent "I.D. card, " which will greatly facilitate reunification with you, should your pet wander off and become lost. All shelters and humane societies scan for these chips when pets fall under their care. We encourage all pet owners to have this simple procedure done, especially if your pet goes outside.
Nutritional Counseling
Report
Over half of the patients we see have nutritional issues, most commonly obesity. Proper diet is essential for your pet's normal growth and development, and for maintaining a healthy weight throughout its adult years. Many diet-related problems, such as pancreatitis and diabetes, can be avoided by getting your pet on a firm nutritional footing from the outset, and avoiding common pitfalls such as feeding from the table and excessive treats.
